The Canadian Alliance for Children’s Grief (CACG) is the first Canadian national group of professionals working together to ensure the accessibility of bereavement support and information to grieving children and their families. CACG seeks to address the barriers experienced by organizations providing services to grieving children and youth and to strengthen the support offered to local communities.

What CACG offers

A national directory of Child Grief and Bereavement Support Programs by province and city

A forum for child and youth bereavement professionals to share knowledge and resources
Create a collective voice to raise awareness about childhood grief and bereavement
Share evidence-based approaches and educational tools related to child grief and bereavement
Share statistics and research about children’s grief and bereavement in Canada
Educate and advocate on children’s grief and bereavement as part of Canada’s palliative care continuum
