Each year, Lighthouse supports over 300 children, youth and their families as they navigate their grief after the life-altering loss of a parent or sibling. Your donation will fund our free grief support groups that will allow our participants to hope for a brighter future.
Your gift in memory of a loved one or to honour someone special, is also making a significant impact on the lives of children, youth and their families who look to Lighthouse for support.
Donating publicly traded stocks and securities is a tax-smart way to support Lighthouse. Donating securities directly avoids tax on capital gains, maximizes the return on your investment and protects the tax credits for use against other taxable income.
You will also receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of a donation of publicly traded stocks or securities, and the transfer is fast and easy.
