Authors Nelsen, Lott, and Glenn have produced a tirelessly upbeat and optimistic approach to disciplining kids. They cover planning ahead to prevent problems, understanding kids (and parents), and life skills for kids. They offer a number of pointers for parents and some general suggestions. Even with so many books on the topic already available, it’s still encouraging to find these nonpunitive, constructive solutions. Jo Peer-Haas
