David Burbach

David is a partner and portfolio manager of YTM Capital, an Oakville-based investment manager.  He is a lawyer by training, spending the first two thirds of his career as in-house legal counsel. He started at Fidelity Investments and then moved to Mackenzie Investments to lead its legal department. David has gained extensive governance experience over more than 25 years in a variety of settings.  David’s giving and volunteering focus on children aligned well with the incredibly positive impact Lighthouse has on grieving children.   He is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and the Ivey Business School at Western University and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.  David lives in Oakville and has two children.
