Elaine Mulcahy Rolfe

Elaine is a dedicated Child and Youth Counsellor, having served with the Halton Catholic District School Board for over 15 years. Her extensive experience in supporting children and families within her schools, coupled with her involvement in the Compassionate Care and Crisis Response Team board wide, has made her intimately familiar with children’s grief. Elaine’s expertise and compassion led to her writing an impactful article for Flourish magazine in 2020, where she openly discussed her own experience of loss during her first year of motherhood. When not immersed in her career, Elaine is a part-time student at Toronto Metropolitan University, pursuing her Bachelor’s degree. During her free time, she cherishes moments spent with her two sons and husband, often found enjoying the beach or exploring local markets.
