Filomena Dennis

Filomena came to Lighthouse as a participant 15 years ago after losing her husband. Her boys, 8 and 9 at the time, attended our programs. Filomena has first-hand experience of grief which she has utilized in her many roles as a Lighthouse volunteer. She was a Lighthouse Board Member for two years, a Parent Room Facilitator for six years, helping families on their grief journey, and has volunteered with us in different fundraising events. Filomena’s role focuses on event and admin support. Filomena enjoys spending family time with her two boys and loves to golf, cook and practice yoga.
